Just like that, it's Monday again, neighbors, and we're back at it with this week's events, news, and resources.

As always, if you know of an event or resource you’d like us to include in future newsletters, send it our way at editors@kensingtonvoice.com

In case you missed it

Mayor Parker’s five-year budget

On March 14, Mayor Cherelle Parker presented her first five-year budget and strategic plan to the Philadelphia City Council.

The 761-page document mentions Kensington a total of 16 times – more than any other neighborhood, including Center City.

So far, we've identified what it says about Kensington.

KCAPA's "Beauty of Time" project

A group of Kensington CAPA students took portraits of five Philadelphia women ages 59 to 86 and directed and produced a documentary film about their lives, "The Beauty of Time."

“The best part was getting to know these ladies,” said Kensington CAPA junior Alondra Hernandez.
