- Hat knitting workshop at McPherson Square Library (601 E. Indiana Ave.) from 4 to 5 p.m. Attendees can keep the hats they make or donate them to the library.

- Co-creating a Green Point for Kensington kick-off event hosted by NKCDC at the Kensington Engagement Center (3000 Kensington Ave.) from 5 to 7 p.m. Co-Creating a GreenPrint for Kensington is a NKCDC’s latest workshop series, centered around green planning and implementation processes for Kensington.
- Make Your Name Known open mic hosted by Vizion Gallery at 3312 Kensington Ave. from 6 to 10 p.m. This open mic occurs every last Tuesday of the month.
- Thurs., Jan. 29
- Paper craft club at Lillian Marrero Library (601 W. Lehigh Ave.) at 3:30 p.m. Attendees will explore different paper-based crafts, like collages, origami and more. All supplies are provided.
- Sat., Jan. 31

- Right to the City board game play session hosted by Kensington Corridor Trust at 3400 J St. from 12 to 3 p.m. The play session serves as the launch and community play testing for Right to the City, a new board game created by Kensington Corridor Trust centered on resilience and collective strategy.
