Kensington Voice is launching a neighborhood-wide survey to understand how people in and around Kensington get information — and what information you actually need. We’re a community newsroom based on Kensington Avenue, and this feedback will directly shape our news coverage, storytelling, and community projects.
The survey is voluntary and should take no more than 10 minutes.

Why this matters
People’s information needs aren’t all the same. Some neighbors want safety updates. Others want information about schools, treatment, jobs, housing or neighborhood events. We want to understand what you rely on, what you’re missing, and how Kensington Voice can be more useful to you and your family.
Your answers will help us:
- Prioritize coverage that reflects real community needs
- Improve our guides and resources
- Plan future projects and partnerships
- Strengthen information access across the neighborhood

To thank you for your time, we’re giving away up to six $200 Visa gift cards. For every 100 completed survey responses, we’ll add another gift card to the drawing.
- 1–99 responses → 1 gift card
- 100–199 responses → 2 gift cards
- 200–299 responses → 3 gift cards
- 300–399 responses → 4 gift cards
- 400–499 responses → 5 gift cards
- 500+ responses → 6 gift cards
