Richmond Library reopens after eight-month renovation: ‘The community feels whole again'
After an August 18 reopening, the library held a ribbon-cutting event to shed light on the building’s importance to the lives of the Port Richmond community.

It seems extra important [to vote] this time around. I know it’s always an important thing to have a voice in what’s going on. But this year especially, I feel like I just gained a lot of perspective on how things work in a different way. I’ve always voted pretty much every election, but for this one, I wanted to get to the polls right at 7 a.m. in case something would go funny.
Where the tax money goes, like where it goes to support communities. Police reform is big for me this time around. Climate issues, trying to make things a little more green.
