Volunteer for Kensington Voice

We do our best to advocate for funding to support the people who contribute to our mission, but we do have a limited budget and therefore limited capacity.

Therefore, we are thrilled when volunteers are interested in donating their time to support our community programs, newsroom, and organization.

Examples of volunteer opportunities include:

• Community event planning and facilitation
• Fundraising and marketing support
• Mentoring youth during our after-school and summer programs
• Newspaper distribution to residents outside our usual route
• Offering free community workshops in Miss Awilda's Media Lab
• Tabling with us at community events
• Writing local event recaps for publication
