At Kensington Voice, we hold ourselves to the highest editorial standards to ensure our reporting is accurate, balanced, fair, and respectful to the communities we serve. Last week, we published a story titled “These legislators were re-elected last week. Here’s what they had to say to Kensington,” which we have since removed from our website.

Upon further review, we determined that the story did not meet our editorial standards. Specifically, it lacked community voices and the context necessary to provide balance. Additionally, it included several stylistic errors that did not reflect our usual quality of work.
