Family Education Navigator

HUNE

HUNE is currently hiring a Family Education Navigator to assist parents in obtaining free appropriate public education for their children by:

  • providing parents with technical assistance

  • giving non-bias advice and options according to law
  • conduct trainings

After-School Soccer Coach

Kensington Soccer Club (KSC)

Kensington Soccer Club is looking for a coach for their after-school program. The schedule depends on how many sites you coach. Each site is at least two days a week, usually from 3:30 to 5pm with the possibility of Saturday and evening sessions for some coaches. Kensington Soccer Club has 20 sites, with different schedules so a site can be found to fit your schedule.

Clinical Social Worker

Fab Youth Philly 

Fab Youth Philly is seeking to hire a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to support both adults and teens via our various youth programs.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Developing supportive relationships with both youth and adults
  • Coaching adult staff to use a strengths-based approach for supporting the teens they work with
  • Providing guidance to the Executive Director when Fab Youth Philly is developing plans for dealing with traumatic events both nationally and locally
  • Helping staff work through vicarious trauma including, but not limited to facilitating and holding space for processing
  • Providing 1:1 brief supportive counseling to both Fab Youth Philly adult staff and Fab Youth Philly teens experiencing stress and or/trauma
  • Collaborating with teens, FYP staff and community partners to accomplish these duties

Requirements:

  • Must hold the highest level of Pennsylvania licensure, a LCSW.
  • Must hold professional liability (malpractice) insurance with coverage at a minimum of$500,000/occurrence and 1,500,000 aggregate.
  • Minimum of 2-years’demonstratedexperienceprovidingtrauma-informed counseling to teens

All three of these clearances are required: Criminal background, Child Abuse, FBI Fingerprints

Fab Youth Philly is seeking to hire a Maker Facilitator to provide interest-driven programming, hands-on technology support, homework help, and mentoring for those who attend the Free Library of Philadelphia’s LEAP/Maker out-school-time program at McPherson Square Library, located in Kensington (19134).

Responsibilities:

Kensington Soccer Club is seeking enthusiastic individuals, with a passion for soccer and a desire to help their community, to join their team as a Community-Based Soccer Coach.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead after-school, evening, and weekend soccer sessions
  • Lead community soccer clinics
  • Orient, train, and mentor children, assistant coaches, and volunteers
