A first look at McPherson Square renovation plans, city to continue gathering input
After seeing the redesign plans for McPherson Square Park and Library, residents asked for more shade, and requested the library stay open during construction.
We are so excited to launch our second art contest, with the theme: “My vision for Kensington.”
We saw this contest as an opportunity for community members to communicate their neighborhood vision to those in or running for elected office at City Hall.
This art contest is being organized by Kensington Voice, a community hub and newsroom serving Fairhill, Harrowgate, Kensington, and Norris Square.
The contest theme is “My vision for Kensington.”
Any visual artwork created by hand or digitally (such as collages, drawings, graphic design, illustrations, paintings, and more). No videos.
A $375 top prize will be awarded to each category. Each winner’s work will be published on the Kensington Voice website and in an upcoming edition of Kensington Voice’s monthly newspaper.
